It's a rather unusual sight to visit something like the Rock Band Downloadable Content Store and find every featured album on the page a Christian market release. But as of yesterday, April 6, many Christian music fans who happen to love themselves some Rock Band will be able to play a few of their favorites now.
Among the newest additions to Rock Band are Switchfoot's "Meant To Live," Skillet's "Monster," Anberlin's "Feel Good Drag," Thousand Foot Krutch's "Fire It Up," Superchick's "Stand In The Rain," and even Hawk Nelson's "Live Life Loud!" In addition to these new additions, recent additions also included "Step Up (I'm On It)" by Maylene & The Sons of Disaster.
It appears, for now, the new songs are only available for the XBOX 360 version of Rock Band, but hopefully PS3 users and Wii users will be able to grab the songs as well. In the meantime, visit http://www.rockband.com/music to grab the songs and for the latest info.
